The HP Smart Array P700m is HP 's first mezzanine Card PCI-Express (PCIE) supporting direct attach and shared SAS Storage. It is one of the highest performing controllers in the SAS portfolio and provides new levels of reliability for HP Blade servers through its support of the latest SCSI technology and advanced RAID capabilities. This controller ships standard with RAID 6 (ADG) and Battery Backed Write Cache.
